China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has said that two Honda Motor Co.'s joint ventures and several other Chinese automakers are recalling cars in the country over defective airbags, Xinhua reports.
GAC-Honda the joint venture between Honda and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd. will recall 16,505 Fit Saloon cars and 527,136 Accord cars, the quality watchdog said.
Meanwhile, Dongfeng Honda Engine Co. Ltd.'s recall would cover 26,128 Elysion MPVs.
Dongfeng Motor Corp. would separately recall 2,848 A60 sedans.
