Major global insurers are increasingly eyeing expansion prospects in China as they expect the country to push financial reforms, which could unlock further insurance opportunities, Finance.ce.cn reported.

China's insurance regulator expects the sector to post an annual growth of around 17% in total premium volume in the coming seven years.

Many foreign insurers have a direct online insurance website in China. Allianz S.E. and AXA Group are among insurers eyeing expansion in the country, Finance.ce.cn reported.
