Air France losing up to $19 million a day due to pilot strike

Air France S.A. has cancelled more than 50% of its flights due to the ongoing strike by pilots, reports Bloomberg.

Air France, a subsidiary of Air France-KLM S.A., is incurring a loss of about €10 million to €15 million ($13 million to $19.4 million) a day due to the strike. The move may affect the airline's efforts to bring its spending in line with that of rival airliners.
