Nigeria: Cornerstone Insurance plc to acquire FIN Insurance

Nigeria's Cornerstone Insurance P.L.C.'s shareholders have given their approval to acquire FIN Insurance Company Ltd., a subsidiary of First City Monument Bank Ltd., reported Nigeria's BusinessDay.

Cornerstone will now acquire 3.3 billion ordinary shares of FIN Insurance. In 2013, Cornerstone reported a 16% growth in its assets and 15% growth in gross premium.
