Sweden: Many claims received for damage from Malmo floods

Three of Sweden's largest insurers have said that they have received a total of more than 4,000 claims amounting to about 250 million Swedish kronor ($35 million) related to the recent floods in the city of Malmo, The Local.se reported citing Sveriges Radio.

Heavy downpours in Malmo and the nearby regions in August caused significant damage to infrastructure, with roads becoming flooded and thousands of homes suffering damage.
