Anderson Kill law firm forms cyber insurance recovery groupReprints
Law firm Anderson Kill P.C. said Wednesday it has formed a cyber insurance recovery group to help policyholders pursue insurance claims for losses stemming from data breaches and other technology-related losses and liabilities.
The New York-based law firm said the cyber insurance recovery group, headed by shareholder Joshua Gold in New York, will pool resources from insurance recovery attorneys in its New York; Ventura, California; Philadelphia; Stamford, Connecticut; Washington; Newark, New Jersey and Dallas offices.
Mr. Gold, who has represented clients in diverse industries pursuing insurance claims for cyber-related losses, said in a statement the firm will aim to help clients “maximize recovery not only from specialized cyber insurance policies, but also from general liability, crime, D&O and professional liability policies that may provide coverage for losses stemming from such events.”
