Russia's Soglasie Insurance pays $184,451 for ship engine damage

Russia-based Soglasie Insurance Co. Ltd. has made an insurance payment of more than 6.7 million Russian rubles ($184,450) to a shipping company for damage to a vessel's main engine, Forinsurer reported.

The damage occurred in March 2013 when the vessel was approaching the port of Suva in Fiji. Soglasie assessed the damage and related factors before making the payment, reports Forinsurer.
