Endurance Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Midas Care Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. have been issued closure notice by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board in India for releasing effluents outside plant premises, The Times of India reported.
"Despite repeated warnings to initiate corrective measures, the industries did not follow the norms," Pravin Joshi, regional officer of the board, said. The board has also asked the authorities to disconnect the water and electricity supply to the sites.
