Bolivia: Agricultural insurance entity expects to pay $1.3 million for crop damage

Bolivia's National Agricultural Insurance Institute expects to pay 9 million Bolivian bolivianos ($1.3 million) in compensation for crop damage from major climate events, including heavy rains, reports

It said the most-affected crops this year were potatoes and corn. The institute's president said the compensation amount would represent around 9,000 hectares of agricultural land, reported.
