Bangladesh: Apparel factory shut down after workers' protest

A factory belonging to apparel firm Hop Lun (Bangladesh) Ltd. in Gazipur, Bangladesh, has been shut down after workers protested in front of the industrial unit, reports bdnews24.com.

A police officer in the area told the news website that "around 3,000 workers stopped working, demanding incentive bonus, lunch, safe drinking water and other facilities" and "authorities closed down the factory following the protest."
