Bulgaria: Floods cause widespread damage, kill 12Reprints
At least 12 people were killed after torrential rains and floods hit eastern Bulgaria, Bloomberg reported.
The floods damaged roads, railroad tracks and houses.
Energo Pro A.S. utility said 12,000 people were left in the dark after floods damaged the power grid.
Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski said "the government can provide financial aid after the damages are assessed."
