Veteran risk management and insurance professional Henry Good died of a heart attack in his home in Chandler, Arizona, on Tuesday at the age of 70.
Mr. Good began his career in Philadelphia at specialty chemical manufacturer Rohm & Haas Co. in 1970 and served in several positions in the company’s financial department before being appointed director of insurance in 1988.
In that position, Mr. Good designed, implemented and maintained a global insurance program that covered manufacturing and sales operations in 50 countries.
In 2004, Mr. Good left Rohm & Haas to work as a risk management consultant at Redwood City, California–based ABD Insurance & Financial Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc.
Mr. Good formed strategic risk management consultancy Global SIRC L.L.C. in 2011 and served as its principal.
Before beginning his industry career, Mr. Good entered the U.S. Army, serving in the Medical Service Corps during the Vietnam War, after graduating from George Washington University with a degree in business administration.
