Damage from floods in Serbia, Bosnia estimated at around $4 billion: EBRDReprints
Damage from the recent floods in Serbia and Bosnia could cost an estimated €3 billion ($4.1 billion), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has said.
It said "rough preliminary estimates put the damage at around €1.5 billion to €2 billion in Serbia, and about €1.3 billion in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Agence France-Presse reported. Damage suffered by the energy sector is expected to be costly. Serbia's biggest mining complex Kolubara has been flooded.
