Spain: More than 500 hectares of fruit plantation in Fraga affected by hail storm, rain

Rain and hail storm in Spain's Fraga town have badly affected more than 500 hectares of peach, cherry, apricot, nectarine and flat peach plantations, Fresh Plaza reported.

Nuria Florenza, of agricultural association Asaja, said in some places 80% to 100% of the plantations have been affected.

Agricultural unions said some growers are yet to inform their insurers about the damage.
