Ice storm damages Slovenia's infrastructure, forests

A recent ice storm caused an estimated €120 million ($165 million) in damage to the infrastructure in Slovenia, Infrastructure Minister Samo Omerzel said.

The storm brought down power lines and coated petrol stations in thick ice, among other things, Reuters reported. Also, the country’s forests suffered an estimated €194 million in damage.
