Burns & Wilcox Brokerage has hired David Gross as managing director for Dallas, the wholesale broker said Monday.
Mr. Gross, who most recently served as vice president and senior broker-casualty for CRC Insurance Services Inc., will report to Burns & Wilcox Brokerage President Denis Brady, who was named president of the firm in June 2013.
Mr. Gross will open the Burns & Wilcox Brokerage office in North Dallas, where his team “will deliver solutions and provide expanded market access throughout Texas and nationwide,” Burns & Wilcox said in a statement.
“David strengthens the depth of our casualty brokerage offering and provides Burns & Wilcox Brokerage a deeper footprint in Texas,” said Mr. Brady in the statement. “Additionally, his expertise in construction adds another key differentiator to further elevate our team.”
“Burns & Wilcox Brokerage has such an incredible opportunity to fill a gap that exists in today’s wholesale brokerage space,” said Mr. Gross.
Mr. Gross, who brings more than 20 years of experience to his new position, is the second senior-level executive to join Burns & Wilcox Brokerage in the last two months.
In December, Burns & Wilcox Brokerage tapped Evan Bull to lead its national property practice in New York.
H.W. Kaufman Financial Group Inc. has hired Denis Brady to serve as president of wholesale brokerage Burns & Wilcox Brokerage.
