Slovenia's infrastructure suffers $89 million damage from ice storm: Officials

Slovenia's infrastructure has suffered damage of at least €66 million ($89 million) following the recent ice storm, government officials said.

Infrastructure Minister Samo Omerzel estimated that damage to the power distribution system was about €10 million, while damage to electricity power lines was about €27 million, Reuters reported. Mr. Omerzel said the state railway suffered damage of €20 million, and the road repairs could cost at least €9 million.
