Earthquake causes 'extensive' damage to buildings on Greek islandReprints
An earthquake that hit the Greek island of Cephalonia on Jan. 26, coupled with aftershocks in the following days, has caused extensive damage in the region, Greek Reporter reported.
Properties that suffered damage include several homes and a few schools. Audits indicate that one in four buildings in Argostoli is unfit for use. There was some damage to a port in the region, Greek Reporter reports. Cephalonia's airport is also facing some problems.
