Philippines: PNB General Insurers expects $17.9 million in losses on catastrophes

PNB General Insurers Co. Inc. expects to post a loss of 700 million Philippine pesos ($15.6 million) to PHP 800 million ($17.9 million) from property damage claims following a series of natural catastrophes that hit the Philippines in 2013.

The catastrophes include Typhoon Nari (Santi), Typhoon Trami (Maring), the Bohol earthquake and Supertyphoon Haiyan, Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.
