Petrotrin fined $3 million over Trinidad oil spills

The Environmental Management Authority has fined Petroleum Co. of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. $20 million Trinidadian ($3.1 million) over 11 oil spills, Caribbean360 reported.

The spills have affected the environment and residents in the south of Trinidad and Tobago. The oil company was accused of not complying with health and air-monitoring requirements, among other things.
