Canada: Toronto Hydro suffers $11.8 million loss from ice storm damage

Toronto Hydro Corp. suffered a loss of $12.9 million Canadian ($11.8 million) during last month’s ice storm, Anthony Haines, chief executive officer of the utility, said.

Of the total sum, around CAD 1 million was in lost revenue, CityNews reported. There were reports of equipment fires during the ice storm.
