BMS Associates Ltd. has named Toby Ducker as its new group chief operating officer, the broker announced Thursday.
Mr. Ducker will succeed Roger Cooper, who is to retire at the end of the year, the broker said in a statement.
Mr. Ducker will report to Dane Douetil, group CEO, and will join the company's group executive committee.
Most recently, Mr. Ducker has been advising BMS and other organizations on strategic and operational change and has more than 10 years of experience in the London market, according to the statement.
“Toby's skills and experience will be hugely valuable during the next phase of BMS' growth,” Mr. Douetil said in the statement. “He has an important mandate to support me and the leadership team in driving top- and bottom-line growth, leading strategic change to best position the group to take advantage of the many opportunities available to us.”
“BMS Group has built a strong platform across a number of different segments,” Mr. Ducker said in the statement.
He said he is eager to help BMS “deliver on the group's ambitious growth plans. This will require disciplined execution and collaboration in order to deliver high-quality change across the organization.”
Mr. Ducker is based in the London suburb of Guildford, England.
