Brokerage Lockton opens Boston office

Brokerage Lockton Cos. L.L.C. has expanded its commercial insurance operations by opening an office in Boston.
The expansion “furthers our goal of providing a significant global insurance advisory alternative to middle-market and multinational companies seeking insurance and employee benefits solutions,” Michael Calabrese, chairman of Lockton's Northeast U.S. operations, said Tuesday in a statement.
The broker named Chip Manozzi and Eva Durkin as senior vice presidents of the Boston office. Both have joined Lockton from Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc. in Boston where they were senior vice presidents.

Lockton said it hopes to move into a permanent office in downtown Boston late this summer.
