BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Recent data on business aviation has indicated that business aircraft accidents worldwide were generally down in 2012, though accidents involving U.S. business jets increased by five in 2012 to 19 incidents.

Statistics released by Robert E. Breiling Associates also revealed that while an improved safety record was seen among non-U.S. registered helicopters, U.S. helicopter accidents surged in 2012. Three fatal business jet accidents in 2012 involved U.S.-registered aircraft crashing outside the United States, including crashes in France, Congo and Mexico. Meanwhile, there were 10 accidents involving non-U.S. registered business jets in 2012, Aviation Week reported citing figures from Robert E. Breiling. Incidents involving non-U.S. business jets fell to six in 2012 from 11 in 2011. The number of fatal accidents involving the business jets also fell to two in 2012, from four in 2011.
