BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Malta, Slovenia groups join Federation of European Risk Management Assns.

BRUSSELS—The risk management associations of Malta and Slovenia have become members of the Federation of European Risk Management Assns.

Brussels-based FERMA announced Tuesday that the Maltese Assn. of Risk Management and the Slovenian Assn. of Risk Management & Insurance Management, known as SI. RISK, have become its newest members.

FERMA now has 21 member organizations from 19 countries across Europe.

“I am thrilled to welcome these new members to FERMA. Their enthusiasm shows the recognition of FERMA as the voice for the European risk manager and demonstrates the growing development and professionalism of risk management across Europe,” FERMA President Peter den Dekker said in a statement.
