Business Insurance's annual Buyers Choice Awards are designed to identify those service qualities that buyers value most and the companies that best exemplify those qualities.
Independent research company Blackstone Group conducted a survey of Business Insurance readers who are buyers—those responsible for the management and purchase of risk management, benefits management and insurance products and services—to identify the service and expertise qualities they regard as most valuable in their brokers, insurers and third-party claims administrators. Respondents were also asked to identify those companies they perceive as best representing their preferred service and expertise metrics, and those companies that they would recommend to peers.
Survey analysis and award winners will be presented at an annual awards luncheon on November 15th at the Hotel Intercontinental in Chicago. The winners will be profiled in the Nov. 26 issue of Business Insurance magazine. The Buyers Choice Awards honor the companies in each category that received the highest scores based on buyer recommendations of best in service and expertise. Companies will be recognized in the following categories and broken out by size of the respondent's organization:
Commercial Auto Insurers
Workers Comp Insurers
In addition to the buyer recommendation that drives the Buyers Choice Awards, custom research will be available to provide additional analysis and insight into individual company performance on each service and expertise metric, as well as benchmark data and data on "brand perception" of service providers by respondents.
