BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

LONDON—London-based brokerage Heath Lambert Group is restructuring its retail operations into one division.

Heath Lambert said Tuesday that its major, financial and professional lines unit; its art, jewelry and private client, treaty solutions and professional risks unit; its commercial affinity and small-business unit; and its national division would be merged into one division.

In a statement, Heath Lambert said the move would enable the division to "focus on maximizing the knowledge and expertise of its leading teams, which have helped Heath Lambert win and retain major clients and household brand names."

Graham Barr, previously head of the national division, has been named managing director of products and markets.

Alan Pratten, previously head of the major, financial and professional team, has been named managing director of retail clients and development, Heath Lambert said.

In June 2008, Heath Lambert sold its general wholesale and reinsurance operations to London-based Cooper Gay & Co. Ltd.
