BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

CALGARY, Canada London-based Benfield Corporate Risk, a primary brokerage unit of Benfield Group Ltd., has announced the acquisition of Calgary, Canada-based Beaufort International Insurance Inc. and Calgary, Canada-based Beaufort Insurance Services Inc.

The new acquisitions provide specialist insurance broking services to companies operating in the oil and gas exploration and oil and sands industries throughout Western Canada. The businesses will trade as Benfield Corporate Risk with immediate effect and all 11 employees will remain with the company.

In addition, Dougal Simpson, the chief executive of BIII and BISI has been appointed head of Benfield Corporate Risk's Canadian operations.
