BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Willis moves Canadian HQ to Toronto

TORONTO—In moves intended to strengthen its operations in Canada, Willis Group Holdings Ltd. announced Monday a series of business and organizational changes, including the relocation of its Canadian headquarters to Toronto from Montreal.

The relocation, the London-based brokerage said, provides Willis with the opportunity to capture significant market share given the "thriving business community" and "considerable insurance company presence" in Toronto, the fifth largest city in North America.

Willis also has named Wole Coaxum, chief operating officer of Willis North America, interim regional executive officer for its Canadian operations. Mr. Coaxum succeeds Louis-Thomas Labbe, who has left the company to pursue other ventures, a spokeswoman said.

In addition, Patrick Doig has joined Willis' Canadian operations as regional partner. Mr. Doig was previously a senior vp at Aon Corp.

In addition to Toronto and Montreal, Willis has offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
