The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued new safety and health guidelines Wednesday to help prevent employees from contracting the avian flu virus, which can spread from contaminated soil or dust. OSHA is urging frequent hand washing and respiratory protection for those who work with infected animals, among others. The guidelines are available at www.osha.gov....The Capita Group P.L.C. is buying Aon Health Solutions of London. The Aon Corp. unit, which had revenues of £15 million ($26.9 million) in 2003, provides occupational health advisory services, such as return-to-work assessments....Weiss Group Inc., a Jupiter, Fla.-based company whose units include an insurance rating agency, has named Harold L. Cochran as president and chief executive officer. Martin D. Weiss, the company's longtime CEO, will remain chairman. Mr. Cochran joined Weiss in 2003 as senior vp of business development.
