NEW YORK--Risk management consultant Kroll Inc. has entered into a nonexclusive arrangement with Asset Security Managers, a unit of Aon Ltd., to provide kidnap and ransom insurance and other coverage to clients of Kroll's K&R crisis management and other services.
ASM markets a K&R insurance program supported by syndicates at Lloyd's of London.
With the initiation of the ASM relationship, Kroll has shifted management of its K&R response service to its London offices, where it is headed by Donald Palmer. Kroll has also established operational centers and response teams in its regional headquarters offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Hong Kong; and New York.
In addition to K&R prevention and response programs, Kroll security consulting; business continuity, counter-terrorism and emergency management programs; and protective services operations and training.
Kroll continues to have a longstanding relationship with American International Group Inc. but ceased providing K&R consulting services to AIG last June, according to a spokeswoman for the consultant.
