HELSINKI, Finland--Finnish insurer Pohjola Group has sold its corporate finance unit, Conventum Corporate Finance Ltd., to the unit's management.

Helsinki-based Pohjola said the sale would streamline its business structure and enable it to focus on its core business of nonlife insurance and asset management.

The sale price corresponds to Conventum's net assets, a Pohjola spokesman said. He declined to give any other information on the sale price.
