According to Munich Reinsurance Co., more public private partnerships and government intervention is needed to tackle the systemic risks and narrow the protection gaps brought by climate change, as the reinsurance industry cannot absorb the risks alone, Artemis reported. Munich Re said that the climate change is driving the severity and frequency of both primary and secondary perils.
