Premium writings grow despite coronavirus outbreak

Data from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission showed that insurance premiums grew more than 1% year-over-year to nearly $166 billion in the first two months, despite the negative effects of the coronavirus outbreak, MENAFN reports. Payouts declined 15.5% to nearly $27 billion.
