European windstorm claims reach an estimated $832 million

Swiss catastrophe data provider Perils A.G. said that European windstorms Draghi and Eberhard are likely to have caused €740 million ($832 million) in insured losses, Artemis.bm reports. Risk modelers initially said that storm Eberhard is likely to have caused up to €1.5 billion of losses. Storm Draghi struck Europe on March 9 while storm Eberhard struck on March 10.
