Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson, premier of Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean, said that hurricane Irma damaged nearly 80% of houses and critical infrastructure across the islands, Turks and Caicos Weekly News reported. The hurricane damaged 100% of all buildings on Salt Cay and 99% of properties in South Caicos island, Ms. Cartwright-Robinson said.
