BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

PartnerRe appoints Humberto Cabrera as head of Latin America

Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. has appointed Humberto Cabrera as head of Latin America, effective March 6, BNamericas reports. Mr. Cabrera will be based in Miami, and report to Tad Walker, chief executive of PartnerRe's Property and Casualty segment. In his new role, Mr. Cabrera will be responsible for promoting PartnerRe's business in Latin America. Most recently, he was chief commercial officer and head of treaty at Aon Benfield Latin America.
