David Alleyne, CEO of Barbados-based Sagicor General Insurance Inc., has said that insurance premiums have fallen to their lowest levels in 30 years because of stiff competition and a soft reinsurance market, reported Barbados Today.

Randy Graham, CEO at the country's Financial Services Commission, said an increase in economic activity could result in more business for the insurance industry.
