Azerbaijani insurers can reinsure Iranian insurers: Expert

Khayal Mammadkhanli, an insurance industry expert, has said that Azerbaijani insurers can reinsure Iranian insurers, reported AzerNews citing Trend News Agency.

Several Azerbaijani insurers have already expressed interest in cooperating with Iranian insurers, said Mr. Mammadkhanli. Iran's insurers don’t have relationships with any of the world's major insurers and reinsurers thanks to years of sanctions against Iran, Mr. Mammadkhanli said.
