BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

U.S. court fines India's Tata Consultancy Services $940 million

A U.S. court has imposed a $940 million on Indian IT firm Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. over a trade secret lawsuit filed by U.S.-based medical software firm Epic Systems Corp., reported International Business Times.

The jury ruled against TCS on seven claims, including misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, unfair enrichment and unfair competition.

Epic alleged that TCS secretly downloaded confidential information for a software it had been hired to help install.

Epic also accused TCS of stealing trade secrets to help rival healthcare software provider Med Mantra.
