Zurich Insurance optimistic for 2016 results

Zurich Insurance Group A.G. chairman Tom de Swaan has said the insurer will see "significantly better results" in 2016 following disappointing losses at its general insurance unit in 2015, Bloomberg reports.
Mr. de Swaan said that Zurich is on track to achieve its cost-cutting targets. The insurer has exited some business, renegotiated loss-making contracts and replaced managers. Zurich chief executive Mario Greco said that he is in talks with employees, brokers and customers as he seeks "a clear and simple strategy" to rebuild confidence in the insurer.
