Reinsurers to cover 97% of insured losses from Dubai hotel fire

A panel of international reinsurers will cover more than 97% of the total insured losses caused by the recent fire at The Address Downtown Dubai hotel on New Year's Eve, reported Middle East Insurance Review citing the Al Ittihad newspaper.

An official at Orient Insurance Co. said that the insurer will cover about 3% of the insured losses.

The official said that reparation will be completed soon in line with agreements.
