Insurer Bharti AXA to cut staff as part of restructuring

India-based Bharti AXA General Insurance Co. Ltd. has said that it is in the process of trimming its workforce as part of its strategic restructuring process, reports The Free Press Journal citing Indo-Asian News Service.

The insurer is reportedly planning to cut its workforce by 400 people. The strategic restructuring "would better support our business ambitions and reinforce our competitiveness across the various business lines that we operate in," said Bharti AXA.
