Higher demand for secondary market catastrophe bond and insurance-linked securities investment opportunities have helped to drive prices higher in September, Artemis.bm reports.

Investment managers at Switzerland-based Plenum Investments A.G. said that low supply of primary cat bonds and the absence of huge catastrophes helped to ensure that "increased demand in the secondary market lead to higher prices."
