The Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool has registered Bosphorus Ltd. as a special purpose reinsurance vehicle in Bermuda for launching its second catastrophe bond.

The existing cat bond matures on May 3, 2016. The new cat bond will serve as a new source of fully-collateralized earthquake reinsurance protection over three years.
