BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Allied World increases contribution to Aeolus to $350 million

Switzerland-based Allied World Assurance Co. Holdings A.G. has increased its capital contributions to Aeolus Capital Management Ltd. for the 2015 underwriting year, reported Artemis.bm.

AWAC had bought a minority stake in the Bermuda-based reinsurance-linked investment and insurance -inked securities manager in 2012. AWAC has contributed $350 million to Aeolus for the period, up from $300 million in 2014, said an official. The distributions coming back from Aeolus have increased, said AWAC.
