BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bear sees name as invitation

What’s in a name? More than one might think, perhaps.

The Bearingstar Insurance, a member of the Arbella Insurance Group, found that out as an actual bear wandered into the Avon, Connecticut, broker’s office basement last week, according to police and local media reports.

The bear was uneventfully coaxed from the basement by officers and ran off as puns abounded.
