Beazley PLC has recruited former Chubb Ltd. executive Patricia Kocsondy as head of U.S. cyber and technology.
She succeeds Kristen Dauphinais, who has left the company for personal reasons.
Based in New York, Ms. Kocsondy will focus on middle-market and large risk cyber and technology underwriting in the U.S. She will report to Paul Bantick, head of global cyber and technology at Beazley.
Ms. Kocsondy was previously senior vice president, errors and omissions and cyber underwriting, for Chubb Ltd.’s North American financial lines practice.
(Reuters) — Shares in Lloyd’s of London insurer Beazley PLC leaped to a 10-month high on Friday after it swung to first-half profit and said it was investing heavily in its cyber insurance business to meet rising demand in the face of ransomware attacks.
