Axa XL names global head of PRCB risk management

Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA, has promoted Dane Mahoney to global head of political risk, credit and bond risk management.
Based in New York, Mr. Mahoney succeeds Rafael Docavo-Malvezzi, who was recently appointed global chief underwriting officer of political risk, credit and bond business following the departure of several executives.
Mr. Mahoney will report to Mr. Docavo-Malvezzi and will lead a team of global risk analysts across the Americas, Asia and the United Kingdom, Axa XL said in a statement Thursday.
Mr. Mahoney was previously risk manager for the political risk, credit and bond business at Axa XL. He joined the company in 2013 as a risk analyst for political risk and trade credit.
