Alera Group announces executive promotions

Alera Group has promoted Brian Caracciolo to chief financial officer, Carolyn L. Cox to executive vice president, general counsel, and William Corrigan to chief operating officer, the broker said in a statement Tuesday.
Mr. Caracciolo was most recently Alera’s corporate controller, the statement said. Ms. Cox was most recently the broker’s deputy general counsel. Mr. Corrigan has served as Alera’s CFO since its formation in January 2017.
Alera CEO Alan Levitz said in the statement that each had been “instrumental” in the broker’s growth.
Deerfield, Illinois-based Alera is the 17th largest broker of U.S. business ranked by brokerage revenue generated by U.S. clients, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
